Binding Memories to Share

Do you ever hear your friends or family flip through your albums and say, “I wish I had a copy of this album!” or feel that desire as you flip through someone else’s album, seeing the incredible depictions of the memories you’ve shared?

There’s now an incredible way to share those scrapbook layouts without recreating the pages by hand. Whether you”re a digital scrapper, a traditional scrapper or even someone with great photos you’d like to share, there’s now a simple and unique way to do it.

Bound 2 Remember can create exact reproductions of your scrapbook layouts or photos and bind them into a hardcover coffee table book—a perfect way to preserve cherished memories or give them as a gift to a loved one. Bound 2 Remember can print the books in actual 12” x 12” size as well as 8” x 8”, 8.5” x 11”, 8” x 10” or 6” x 6”.

How does it work? Bound 2 Remember has a couple of online retailers as well as some in-store retailers around the U.S. Traditional scrapbookers can either visit a retailer in their area or go through one of the online stores to purchase a $10 kit that will help them prepare everything. The kits are made for both 12” x 12” pages and 8.5” x 11” pages and include detailed instructions on how to organize their materials—from arranging the layouts in order they’d like them printed to inserting the padded foam placeholders and adding the labels. There’s even a watersafe bag to place your layouts in and a corrugated box for shipping.

They do ask that you do not send actual albums or page protectors—only the actual pages. One your package arrives at Bound 2 Remember, they will carefully unpack your artwork and digitally capture them with top of the line cameras and lighting equipment. Your original layouts will be carefully packed and returned to you. The whole process takes approximately 10 days. The package is also insured for up to $100 with the pre-paid Fed-Ex bar code label that’s included in the kit.

For digital scrapbookers, this is a great way to have your layouts put into a book without having to have a large-format printer at home. Digital scrappers or photographers can upload their pages or pictures to one of the online stores through an FTP site or send them on a CD and complete the order form online.

Creating a bound book of your best family layouts for a mother, father or other family member is a fantastic gift idea. The coffee-table style book will be a gift that keeps on giving.
