I Love You Beary Much

Create a fun pocket page, embellished by a paper piecing, to hold special Valentines.
Supplies:

Instructions to make the pocket:
  1. Cut a 2 3/4"x 12" piece of red floral paper; mat it on white. Trim with scallop scissors and outline the scallops with black pen. Cut a 6" x 12" piece of white vellum; attach the floral strip to the top of the vellum piece. Attach this piece to the bottom of the red plaid paper, using eyelets along the two sides and the bottom to create a pocket.
To make the bear:
  1. Click here to access the bear pattern. Paper piece the bear, using one layer of foam tape to attach the bear's muzzle, his nose and his feet. Punch a red heart, mat it on black and glue it to a punched white scallop heart. Outline the scallops with black pen and journal with white pen. Cut along the bear's arm lines with an X-acto® knife, slip the heart under his arms and glue.
