Paper Pizazz® Cardstock

scrapbooking ideas

It’s the one basic staple every paper-crafter buys—and uses: cardstock! Here’s my pick for a terrific value on top-quality cardstock: the new Paper Pizazz® Cardstock collections in three different varieties. They’re all true 12”x12”; the colors are incredible, and they perfectly match Paper Pizazz® patterned papers.

Light Cardstock Pack. These soft, subtle colors are so versatile. You get two sheets each of 16 different colors. $13.99 means each sheet is 44 cents.

Dark Cardstock Pack. The richest, most elegant colors I’ve found. This pack also contains two sheets each of 16 different colors. 32 pieces of cardstock for $18.99 means they’re 59 cents per sheet. (Did you know darker colors are more expensive to produce? That’s why these colors are a bit more expensive than the Light Cardstock.)

Special offer from Paper Wishes: If you buy both the Light Cardstock Pack and the Dark Cardstock Pack together, you can save $5.00 and get them for $27.99. Click here to find out more.

Paper Pizazz® Frames & Corners and Hardware

scrapbooking idea

These new Paper Pizazz® embossed Punch-Outs™ are easy and excellent embellishments for any paper-crafting project! I love the metal finish and the versatility they offer, and that all you have to do is punch them out and adhere them to your project. You can place the corners onto a photo or photo mat to draw in the eye or cut the center out of a frame and place it over a photo or piece of ephemera for more focus. The Hardware Punch-Outs™ can be used in a variety of ways also—as additions to a heritage or masculine page, or as part of an altered book or card for a special someone. The best part of these great embossed paper images is the numerous ways you can adapt them. Ink them, stipple them—even sand them—to make them fit perfectly with whatever project you’re working on.

Each package is $4.99 and comes with four sheets of Punch-Outs™ for you to create with.

You can purchase Embossed Paper Hardware Punch-Outs™ and Embossed Paper Frames & Corners Punch-Outs™ through the Paper Wishes catalog.

Brilliance Inkpads

My stamping group raves about Brilliance inkpads from Tsukineko, so I decided to pick up a few. As usual, my pals were right: these are the very best inkpads on the market. I love the rich colors, how fluid the ink is and how I always get crisp images when I stamp. The fluid-ness of the ink itself means you can do direct-to-paper techniques quickly and easily. It dries without heat embossing, and you can use it on non-porous surfaces like dominoes, mica and metal. It also works great on vellum and glossy paper. Even better, the range of colors means there’s one to match each of the colors in the sarabooks™ line! Take a look at these gorgeous colors:

Coffee Bean (matches ivory sarabooks)
Pearlescent Coral (matches garnet sarabooks)
Pearlescent Ivy (matches emerald sarabooks)
Mediterranean Blue (matches sapphire sarabooks)
Victorian Violet (matches amethyst sarabooks)
Platinum Planet (beautiful silver metallic, very contemporary)
Graphite Black (your basic black, only better)
Galaxy Gold (gorgeous metallic gold, very upscale

Each inkpad retails for $7.99. Ask for them at your favorite stamp or scrapbook store, or order them online at Paperwishes.com.
