Slide mounts—those cute little cardstock frames—are perfect for creating gorgeous and unique embellishments. Susan made this “Pretty in Pink” slide mount using a Large Circular Slide Mount and papers from the 8”x8” Wedding collection. It’s perfect for adding to a wedding card or topping off an album page about the special event.
Supplies:
Instructions:
- Cover the slide mount with pink netting paper by adding glue to one side of the slide mount and placing face down on the back of the paper. Trim the excess paper from the outside edges and use the X-acto® knife and cutting mat to trim the excess paper from the inside.
- Trace the pattern onto the pink/white stripes paper and cut out. Use the X-acto® knife to cut slits where the dotted lines are. Thread pink grograin ribbon the slide. Use a Mini Glue Dot™ to attach the gold heart to the center of the ribbon. Center on the slide mount, trimming the ribbon ends even with the slide mount edges.
- Glue the slide mount to a square of roses paper and trim to 1/8”. Fold a small piece of ribbon and use a Mini Glue Dot™ to attach it to the top of the slide mount, behind the roses paper as shown.
