Paper Box
By LeNae Gerig

This small paper box is perfect for a wedding or party favor. Make little gifts for your child’s birthday party or put a special surprise inside for your sweetheart—just change the paper and ribbon to fit the theme

Supplies:

  • patterned Paper Pizazz®: diagonal ribbons paper: Coordinating Lace Papers
  • 1 yard of 1/8” wide ivory satin ribbon
  • 3/8” wide ivory ribbon rose with two green ribbon leaves
  • tracing paper, transfer paper
  • tacky craft glue
  • pencil

Instructions:

  1. Trace the box pattern onto tracing paper, then transfer the pattern to the back of the patterned paper. Cut out the box. Fold the box along the dotted lines as shown on the pattern. Glue the sides to secure, but leave the lid free. Insert candy or a small surprise and fold in the lid.
  2. Place the box upside-down in the center of the ribbon and wrap the ribbon around as if for a package. Tie a shoestring bow with two 1 1/2” loops and two 2 1/2” tails. Glue the rose to the bow center.
