For the athletes or the sports enthusiasts in your family, this soccer ball is a great way to accent a sports page. Shauna matted each piece on black to give it a fantastic three-dimensional look.

Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. Using black/teal grid, teal circles and white cardstock, trace and transfer the pattern. Cut out each piece and mat on black cardstock.
  2. Use the teal gingham as your background and tear the remaining black/teal grid diagonally as shown. Glue over top right of gingham. Mat the photo on white, then on black, trimming closely. Mat again on a wider mat of teal circles, then on a thin mat of black. Mat once more on white.
  3. Add green netting, about 3 inches from the right page edge. Add the photo over the netting, angling as shown. Place tinsel in the bottom left of the page, then add the soccer ball on top. Journal in the center with the black pen.
  4. Computer journal or handwrite on white cardstock, mat on black and add to the right bottom of the page at an angle, as shown.
