Airplane

Whether you’re making a scrapbook page or creating a fun card, vellum shadows make great additions to paper crafting projects. In this heritage layout designer, Arlene peterson used two vellum planes to repeat both the travel theme of the background paper and the airplane in the photo.

About this page:

Arlene enlarged the airplanes in the paper to two different sizes, then used the brown pencil and chalk to add subtle details and shading. She double-matted the photo on gold and vellum, then added brown colored pencil edges and chalking to the vellum mat. The embossed paper charms and gold thread move the eye from the photo to the right side of the page and add a bit of shine.
