This simple bouquet holder is the perfect card focal point or scrapbook page
accent! You can make it from any size square of paper, enlarging or reducing
proportionally to fit your project. Susan makes the bouquet holder from a 3?
square of paper or vellum for cards and uses a 5?square for scrapbook pages.
Here's how:
- Cut a square of paper or vellum in the size you prefer.
- Mark the middle of the right edge and fold it from the mark to the bottom point.
- Repeat on the left and fold the left edge inward.
- Fold the left flap tip outward.
- Fold the right tip outward.
Susan's tips:
- Fill the bouquet with pressed flowers for a seasonal look.
- Cut flowers from patterned background paper to fill the bouquet, attaching some with foam tape for dimension.
- Make the bouquet holder from green vellum for a straight-from-the florist look.
- Tie a ribbon or piece of raffia around the bouquet holder for a pretty effect.
