Top Trends: Tag Art
| There's just something about those little tags! Once an office-supply staple, tag art has become a popular paper craft in its own right, with templates, papers and all sorts of wonderful tag art ideas to be discovered. We asked designer Shauna Berglund-Immel, a tag art aficionado, to share two of her favorite designs in this issue of Your Creative Spirit. Read on! |

Springtime Butterflies

Shauna's Tip: Cut out individual designs from your patterned papers and use them to embellish your tags! Silhouette-cut the butterflies, fold up their wings and glue the bodies to the tags for a three-dimensional effect.

The Beauty of Spring

Shauna's Tip: Put a pocket or a mini envelope on your tag, then tuck little flowers, skeleton leaves or other treasures inside! To create the pocket effect, Shauna outlined the torn vellum edge with an embossing pen and heat-set gold embossing powder. She layered the vellum over her tag and trimmed it to size, layering a torn piece of light yellow floral paper on top to hide the adhesive.
