Ever heard of Artist Trading Cards—or ATCs? They’re collectible, tradable cards that can be collaged, decorated, embellished and otherwise personalized to express the creativity and style of the maker.
On the back of each ATC the artist writes his or her name and contact information. These little pieces of creativity aren’t sold, only traded—the point of them is that you exchange your work with others. Think of them as baseball cards for the paper crafting world!
Not into trading? You can still have a lot of fun making these miniature pieces of art! I love the smaller size and quick creating time—and it’s a great place to use all those leftover papers, ribbons and embellishments. But rather than trade my trading cards, I use them as the focal point on a handmade card or an accent on a scrapbook page instead!
