To create this Country Christmas Ornament, Shauna traced the template onto coordinating Christmas papers, then mounted them with foam tape to make a dimensional ornament. She used a black pen to outline each shape and to add faux stitching around the edges.

Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. Trace shape 3-A from the template onto red texture paper and cut out. Mat on solid tan paper and cut around the shape, leaving a 1/16” border of tan. With a black pen, trace against the edges of the red texture shape onto the tan mat. Use the pen to add stitch marks along the edges of the red texture shape.
  2. Trace shape 3-B onto green paisley paper and cut out. Mat on solid tan paper and cut around the shape, leaving a 1/16” border of tan. Use the black pen to trace against the edges of the green paisley shape onto the tan mat. Add stitch marks along the edges of the green paisley shape. Use foam mounting tape to secure the shape centered on the red texture shape from step 1.
