Tie this fun personalized name tag onto a gift package,
place it next to a party guest’s plate or use it on a scrapbook
page or a handmade card!
Supplies
Instructions:
- Use the template to cut an extra-large tag from the collage paper.
Trace the shape onto the paper, then cut with scissors or a paper trimmer.
- Mat on metallic gold, leaving a thin edge. Tear a 5 1/2”x1 1/2”
strip of tan vellum. Glue to the center of the tag as shown and trim
the excess. Cut out the alphabet tags and mat each on gold. Attach to
the vellum with foam tape. Tear a 4 1/2”x3/4” strip of ivory
vellum and journal with a black pen. Glue over the tags as shown. Option:
For added stability, mat your tag on a piece of brown or tan cardstock.
- Cut a 5/8”x1” piece of gold paper. Tear one short end
and glue half to the tag front, wrapping the remainder to the back.
Insert a 3/16” eyelet centered on the gold. Thread 8” lengths
of brown, tan and white fibers through the eyelet and tie to secure.
Knot each end of the fibers. Option: Add a few of the wood beads in
the Tan 3-D Collection through the ends of the fibers before knotting.
- Use a needle and metallic gold thread to sew five buttons centered
below the name as shown.
