A personalized baby album—what better gift for a new mom? Designer Susan Cobb added just a few finishing touches to this printed 8”x8” album cover: A photo of the baby, a tag and real grosgrain ribbon to match the ribbon printed on the album cover. Suddenly this printed album becomes a beautiful keepsake!

Susan says, ”I chose pale yellow ribbon which matches the yellow color of the album cover. The brown tag also matches the brown in the cover. The metal corners and frame with photo add a finished look and make it a keepsake from cover to cover.”

Supplies:

Instructions:

  1. Bend the metal corners with your fingers to fit the slightly sloped corners of the padded album. Use the Ultimate Glue to glue in place. Attach the photo to the back of the metal frame, so it’s centered showing through the front.
  2. Tie a bow in the ribbon, trimming the tails to 1” length. Attach to the album with a 1 1/2” length of ribbon to “hang” the photo frame. Glue in place.
  3. Use the black pen to write the name and date on the tag, or use a computer printer. Fold a 1” length of ribbon and attach it to the back of the tag. Use a sewing needle or awl to make a small hole in the album to add the silver brad. With a drop of glue, add a brad and attach tag to the album.
