Susan removed the journal cover, and covered it with brown textured paper,
then reattached it. She cut a 2 7/8" square of the words paper,
centering the square so the break between the tan and brown collage falls
in the middle of the square. Next Susan cut out "dream," "hope"
and "wish" and matted each on light tan textured. She wrapped
the white ribbon around the front cover of the journal, 1" from
the right side, knotting the ends at the top.
Susan attached the tape-style fragments to the ribbon as shown. She folded
the leather cord in half, then threaded it through the key and knotted
the ends.
