Crystal slides make bracelets look expensive and intricate. A crystal slide bracelet is actually affordable and simple to make. This bracelet is made with Peridot, which happens to be Katie’s birthstone, you can purchase crystal slides and beads in any birthstone color to make this gorgeous project for yourself.

Bracelet Length: 7”

Supplies

  • five 10mm green crystal/metal 2-hole slides
  • six 8mm fire polish olivine glass beads
  • 20 green glass e-beads
  • silver toggle clasp
  • two 9” lengths of silver bead stringing wire
  • wire cutters
  • round nose pliers
  • chain nose pliers
  • ruler

Instructions

  1. Attach two pieces of beading wire to half of the clasp by springing a crimp bead or tube 1/2” to 1” from the end of the wire. String the clasp onto the wire, then place the wire end back through the crimp to form a small loop. Use a crimping tool to crimp it. Cut off the wire end or place it through the first bead.
  2. String both wires through a glass olivine bead, then add an e-bead onto each wire and string one wire end through each hole on a crystal/metal slide and again add an e-bead to each wire. Continue the pattern until all the beads and spacers are used, ending with a glass olivine bead. Adjust the tension on each wire, then attach each wire end to the clasp.
