Cowboy Bundle

These Cowboy party favors are a hit for little boys' birthdays. Try making them with the children for a great party activity.

Supplies:

  • 22" square red bandana
  • 24" of medium weight jute
  • 3" wide unfinished wood star
  • five 3/8" wide unfinished wood circles
  • 11/2" long pin back
  • yellow acrylic paint
  • 1/2" wide flat paintbrush
  • fine point permanent black pen
  • treats
  • tissue paper: yellow, blue
  • basic supplies: scissors, low temperature glue gun and sticks, tacky craft glue, ruler

Instructions:

  1. Paint the star and circles yellow and let dry. Glue a circle to each star point. Outline the star with a black dash/dot border as shown. Write "Sheriff" and personalize it with a name if you wish. Glue the pin to the back of the star.
  2. Place the tissues at the center of the bandana with the treats in the center of the tissue. Gather up the sides of the paper and bandana and knot with the jute. Knot each end of the jute and pin the star to the center of the knot.
